Jay Trade Fair 2022

Jay Trade Fair was organized by the Grade 11 Commerce Students on 28th and 29th April 2022 in the school campus. The main motto behind it was to give the practical knowledge to the students about basic business steps such as marketing strategies, purchasing of raw materials, managing accounts, etc. and provide a stage to them to develop their marketing skills. The event was by the student, and for the students. The students held different stalls like food stall, accessories, game zone, shopping stalls, etc. The cultural programs were conducted in order to entertain and attract the visitors.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Shri Bharatbhai Tanti, Chairman- Jay International School, Shri D.V.Mehta, Chairman-Genius Group of Institutions, Ms.Dimple Mehta-C.E.O.-Genius Group of Institutions, Shri Jay Mehta, Managing Director at Gardi Vidyapith, Dr. S.B. Jadeja, Academic Director- Gardi Vidyapith, Dr. N.B. Kapopara- Principal- Shri V.M.Mehta Institute of Ayurved, Dr. Arvind Bhatt, Medical Director- L.R. Shah Homopathic College Shri Nileshbhai Ankleshwariya- HOD- M.H. Gardi School of Management and Shri Vikrambhai Jain, renowned Industrialist, Rajkot to encourage all the students and guests.

The center of attraction was the stall of Narmada Balghar-Morbi which gave Virtual Reality experience, 3-D printing, Drone, etc. The students enjoyed the adventure in the various games and relished on the delicacies available in the canteen.

INDIA BOOK OF RECORD OF ‘MOST NUMBER OF STUDENTS SINGING PATRIOTIC SONGS SIMULTANEOUSLY’

National Record Set at State-Level Celebrations

In conjunction with State Level celebrations, the success of the event was a collective effort, with 1500 teachers and 500 volunteers dedicating their time and energy. The festivities celebrated the diverse cultures and unity and diversity of India's 29 states and union territories, featuring captivating folk dances and songs performed by students on stages set up around Race Course Ring Road, each with a unique theme.

The pinnacle of the event was the establishment of a new national record recognized by the India Book of Records. On January 24, 2020, 22,015 students of the Self-Finance School Management Association, under the Management of Genius Group of Institutions, came together at Race Course Ring Road to sing six patriotic songs together. Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, the adjudicator of the India Book of Records, witnessed and approved this remarkable attempt, surpassing the previous record set on January 26, 2016, by 15,800 students. The patriotic songs, including classics like 'Saare Jahan se Aachha' and 'Ma Tuje Salam,' resonated with the spirit of unity and patriotism.

71ST STATE LEVEL REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

The State-Level celebration of the 71st Republic Day in Rajkot, held from January 23rd to 26th, 2020, was a grand event organized by the Self-Finance School Management Association and Rajkot Municipal Corporation, with support from Rajkot Police and Kamnath Mudranalaya Pvt. Ltd. The coordination of the entire event was skillfully managed by Genius Group of Institutions. The primary objective of this celebration was to instill a sense of patriotism, unity in diversity, and the spirit of 'One India-Great India' among school students.

The State-level Republic Day celebration in Rajkot received encouragement from various dignitaries, including Hon. Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Member of Parliament Shri Mohanbhai Kundariya, Hon. Mayor Res. Binaben Acharya, MLA Shri Govindbhai Patel, MLA Shri Arvindbhai Raiyani, Municipal Finance Board Chairman Shri Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi, BJP Women Wing Leader Res. Anjaliben Rupani, BJP Leader Shri Nitinbhai Bhardwaj, BJP City President Shri Kamleshbhai Mirani, Social Welfare Committee Chairman Shri Ashishbhai Moliya, BJP Leader Shri Dalsukhbhai Jagani, Collector Res. Remya Mohan, RMC Commissioner Shri Udit Agrawal, and Rajkot Police Commissioner Shri Manoj Kumar Agrawal and former MLA Res. Bhanuben Babariya. Their presence added to the encouragement and support for the participating students and staff.

As part of the State-Level Republic Day celebrations, an exciting Aero Show was held at the New Race Course Ground in Rajkot. The event featured thrilling feats such as Paramotoring, Parasailing, Flyable Aero Modeling, Helicopter Maneuverability, Fly Pass, Sky Diving, and Hot Air Balloon displays for the audience. The entire program was organized by GujSail and Ether Solution and Services Team, with management coordinated by Genius Group of Institutions.

Defence Youth Fiesta 2019

The dates: 24 to 27 February 2019 have been inked in the memories of Defence Youth Fiesta 2019, a bench marking event on the 10 Year of Youth Fiesta; a theme-based knowledge fair organized every year by Jay International School, turning out to a memorable one not only for the organizers, but also for the people of Gujarat. It all started with a thought of choosing the theme ‘DEFENCE’; not predicted by anyone at the back of their minds that it would turn out to be such a huge success; but with a very strong vision of the Managing Trustee of Jay International School: Shri D.V.Mehta, to spread awareness about PATRIOTISM among the youth and society. The concept was openly accepted by all the second-heads and the staff of Jay International School, GardiVidyapith, Genius School, Rajkot International School and Global Ayurved. The idea was supported and thus led forward with the enormous inputs by Captain JaydevJoshi(Retd.). Various permissions, meninges and approval from the Defence Force Headquarters shaped up a Mega Event into the making. Few days prior the event, the higher authorizes visited the venue and to discuss the framing of the event with Jay International School.

Trade Manifesto(since year 2016)

An annual Trade Fair was organized by the students of Jay International School and Genius School. The Trade Manifesto was organized by the students of Std. 11th Commerce Stream at Virani High School ground of the city from 20 to 22 December 2019. In this three-day trade fair, students have organized numbers of exciting stalls, game zone, food zone, organized various sessions on knowledge enhancement and cultural events that received unparalleled response by the big number of visitors.

Jay International School offers their students special training during their student years which helps them to succeed in the future in a job or professional field. During this Trade Fair, special sessions were organized, such as Talk Show with experts from different disciplines, as well as interaction with experts to solve questions related to the careers in the fields of animation. The seminar on Animation was organized by the experts from Arena Animation at the Virani High School ground on December 21. The workshop was aimed to guide students who want to pursue careers in the world of multimedia and entertainment.

A talk show by the field experts on ‘Challenges and Opportunities for Gen-X’ was conducted by experts from different walks of life. In this talk show Pro-Vice Chancellor of Saurashtra University Dr. Vijaybhai Desani, Principal of B. H. Gardi College of Engineering and Technology Dr. S.B.Jadeja , Shri Kashyapbhai Chotai of Business Network International and Shri Parthbhai Sejpal of GTU Innovation and Start up Program were specially present to provide guidance and encouragement to the audience and students.

During all three days of Trade Manifesto, Zumba dance sessions were conducted by the expert trainer of M.Z. Fitness in morning and evening timings to raise awareness on fitness. These sessions benefited many students, parents and citizens. In addition to the entertainment of the visitor, students of Jay International School,Genius English Medium School and Virani High School had organized cultural evening programs of dance show, singing, musical performances, talent show wherein the famous Kranti band also gave their performance.

These three days had received unparalleled support and response from the visitors. More than 10,000 people, as well as students from many schools in and around the city, visited the trade fair. Through this trade fair, students gained practical knowledge of the subjects like principles of management, the importance of advertising, the process of buying from wholesale and selling in retail, planning and management of trade fair events etc.

Youth Fiesta 2018- Rajkot 2050:A Visionary Exhibition

Jay International School, as a part of Genius Group of Institutions and in support with Suraksha Sethu Society and Rajkot Municipal Corporation organised Poojara Youth Fiesta-2018 between April 21 to 23, 2018 at Race Course Ground of Rajkot. The theme of this year was ‘Rajkot 2050 – A Visionary Exhibition’. More than 200 Projects on 16 areas were prepared and presented by the 4000 students of Genius English Medium School, Jay International School, Rajkot International School and Gardi Vidhyapith.

First day lamp lighting was performed by saint Pu. Apoorvamuni Swami of BAPS. On second day formal, inauguration was made by State Education Minister Hon. Mr. Bhupendrainhji Chudasama. In this exhibition, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) presented their various models of Satellites etc, Rajkot Collector Office presented Racecourse 2, New airport and Science City at Ishwarya Park. Rajkot Police have presented Eye way, Hem and Cyber Security Projects, Smart City Mission also presented various futuristic projects. Armath company of Armenia country presented technology and robotics models and Indiwood company presented their Talent Hunt project here.

This exhibition was organised in 1.5 lakh sq. ft. area in Racecourse ground, in 8 various domes. In three days more than 2 lakh visitors from various educational institutes, and prominent figures from the city have visited. During these three days, from 5pm to 9 pm project presentation and 9 pm to 11 pm cultural programs were presented by the students. Apart from exhibition, quiz, presentation, painting exhibition were organised for visitors. In this three days, expert sessions of ISRO Scientists, Mr. Yogeshbhai Poojara, MD, Poojara Telecome, Mr. Sohan Roy, CEO – Aries Group of Companies, Mr. Bhaira Pandhi, Director HOCL were organised.

The projects were exhibited in 16 different areas including Defense, Education, Infrastructure, Health-Hygiene, Sports, Commerce, Communication, Transport, Agriculture, Tourism, Robotics, Mass Media, Entertainment, Space Science, Environment, and Life Style.

RAJKOT MARATHON –OFFICIAL REGISTRATION PARTNER

The dates 24th to 27th February 2019 have been etched into the memories of Defence Youth Fiesta 2019, a benchmark event marking the 10th year of Youth Fiesta. This theme-based knowledge fair is organized annually by the Genius Group of Institutions. The event, centered on the theme 'DEFENCE', aimed to spread awareness about PATRIOTISM among the youth and society. The concept garnered widespread acceptance and support from the staff and heads of Jay International School, Jay International School, Rajkot International School, Gardi Vidyapith, and Global Ayurved.

The visionary Chairman and C.E.O. of Genius Group of Institutions, Shri D.V. Mehta and Ms. Dimple Mehta, played a pivotal role in shaping this event. Captain Jaydev Joshi (Retd.) provided significant inputs, and with permissions and approvals from the Defence Force Headquarters, the event took on monumental proportions. The venue was visited by higher authorities, and discussions with Genius Group of Institutions further refined the framework for this Mega Event.

GENIUS FOOD CARNIVAL 2017

Jay International School, Genius English Medium School and Rajkot International School supported by Shakti School joined hands to mark a Grand Event with a noble social cause-Genius Food Carnival. The event was held mainly to draw the attention of young generation from Junk food to the Traditional Food which is actually very beneficial to our health. The event was led open in the presence of dignitaries like MD of Ban Labs Shri Mauleshbhai Ukani, Associate Research Scientist in Agronomy Dr. D S Hirpara, Trustee of RIS Shri Anantbhai Mehta, Shri Devangbhai Mankad, Shri D V Mehta and other dignitaries. The highlights of the Event was two Records were made during the event which were noted in Indian Achiever Book of Record apart from different competitions like Laddoo-Eating in 10 min & Pani-Puri Eating in 1 min and Master Chef Cooking Competition. The Record-making events were carried out with the help of students of different educational institutes. The Master Chef Cooking Competition was also further categorized into Liliput Master Chef, Blooming Master Chef & Skilled Master Chef. The event was continuously supported and made live by the Orchestra of students of JIS-Genius-RIS students. Stalls serving food rich in Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins, Fats, Minerals as well as Traditional & Extinct Foods were also set up to give idea about what can be replaced to give more nutrition in our regular diet. The whole event was successfully guided by the Nutritionist associated with Genius Group- Ms. Kinneri Bagdai.

LARGEST GIRLS CYCLE RALLY 2017

Rajkot City has received the waters of the worshipped Narmada River in its Aji Dam reservoir and different programs were conducted across the city to welcome the same. As a part of Hon. Shri Narendrabhai Modi’s ‘Beti Padhao, Sashakt Samaj Banao’ belief, the largest Girls’ Cycle Rally was organized by Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Rajkot Self-Finance School Management Association, BAN Labs Ltd and Suraksha Setu Society and was Co-ordinated by Genius Group of Schools.

A large crowd of 10,629 girls from more than 100 school and colleges of Rajkot gathered zone-wise at the Choudhary High School Ground early morning on 27th June 2017. The Cycle Rally was flagged off at sharp 8:00 am in the presence of dignitaries Shri Anupamsinh Gehlot-Rajkot City Police Commissioner, Shri B.N.Pani- Rajkot Municipal Commissioner, Mayor Dr.Jaimanbhai Upadhyay, Deputy Mayor Dr. Darshitaben Shah, BJP Mahila Morcha President Smt.Anjaliben Rupani, Dr. Vikrant Pande, Smt. Bhanuben Babariya, Finance Board Chairman Shri Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi, Shri Nitinbhai Bhardwaj, Shri Kamleshbhai Mirani, Shri Pushkarbhai Patel, Shri Devangbhai Mankad, Shri Jitubhai Kothari and Shri Kishorbhai Rathod. The staff and students of other schools and colleges also joined in increasing the enthusiasm of the participating girls. The Cycle Rally commenced from the entry of Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Ground at Race Course and ended at Shyam Prasad Mukherji Art Gallery. The Fire-brigade staff, Ambulance and the Traffic Police served their best to keep the rally moving alongwith the routine crowd. The participating girls were gifted T-shirts by BAN Labs. Different Cheering Points managed by Genius English Medium School, Jay International School, New Era School and Rajkot International School boosted up the enthusiasm in the girls. Genius English Medium School and Jay International School students performed Live Orchestra at the starting point and made a live atmosphere by singing songs dedicated to Girl Child.

The Adjudicator-Shri Jai Kishan Sharma from Asia Book of Records flew down personally from Faridabad to join in the Noble Social Cause. The Record of the largest number of Girls in a Cycle Rally based on a particular theme will be noted in Asia Book of Records, Limca Book of Records and Indian Achiever Book of Records.

The whole event was carried out under the co-ordination of the Chairman of Genius Group-Shri D.V Mehta, President of Self-Finance School Management Association Shri Ajaybhai Patel, Shri Avdheshbhai Kangad, Shri Jatinbhai Bharad, Shri D.K. RAJKOT SPORTS FIESTA 2016

A Rajkot Sports Fiesta 2016 was organized by the joint venture of Rajkot Municipal Corporation and Rajkot Self Finance Schools Association to encourage the upcoming Sportsmen from Rajkot city from 23rd to 31st January, 2017. Genius Group of Schools played a major role as an Organizing Committee in the conduction of the event. Total 10 indoor-outdoor games were included in the event namely Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Chess, Kabadi, Cricket, Football, Swimming, Badminton, Athletics and Hockey. The students of Genius English Medium School and Jay International School also encouraged the participants by singing to various motivational songs.

In the year 2015, Genius Group of Institutions had come up with ‘Engineering Youth Fiesta 2015: Technology for Social Good’ which was held at Race Course Ground from 23rd to 26th April, 2015. We take pride in sharing that more than 3,00,000 visitors took advantage of the Engineering Youth Fiesta as well as some of the leading industrialists also committed to join hands with us in future. Thus, the vision of Genius Group “To imply Engineering as Technology for Social Good” became a success due to their strong belief in Sir Blake’s quote “New Technology is common, new thinking is rare.” The sectors which are thrown light upon in this Youth Fiesta were Advanced and Social Security Engineering, Energy and Biomedical Engineering, Sports and Infrastructure Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, etc.

ASTRO YOUTH FIESTA 2014

It was really an evolution of scientific developments through unique and relevant topics. Envisioned to be an exhibition of mega proportions, was an imaginary world created for visitors to be ‘shrunk’ to the size smaller than an ant. The Astro Youth Fiesta had presented and unveiled to visitors, the amazing world of Astronomy, in a most fascinating and interactive manner.

The journey through the Astro Youth Fiesta had been multi-sensorial, not only exciting visually, but exhilarating visitors’ sense of understanding. It had been dedicated showcase of an interesting information gallery on the well-known facts and information on space science.

Alongwith the Education Exhibits, there had been lots of opporutnities for interaction and hands-on activities. Complementing the exhibition has been a set of comprehensive education programs, comprising of Expert Lectures and workshops. Around 5,00,000 people visited the Astro Youth Fiesta. As a part of the outreach program, 20,000 students took part in the learning sessions and workshops with the resources incorporated in day-to-day teaching.

It was a synthesis of collective happenings and activities which provided floor to students to meet the global challenges and to apply the theoretical concepts which the students had acquired through their learning in the practical world. It had provided a vast platform to the students to explore themselves and come with innovative ideas and solutions. Students had come across Luminaries whereby to impart the ideas, strategies and creativity in their future life.

The event was designed to inspire solutions in which technology, culture, humanitarianism and viability symbiotically coexist. The expo attempted to inspire creativity within the restrictions that are inevitable in any development.

Through Brainstorming, Investigation and Reflection, Project Approach allowed learners to embark on in-depth studies of topics of their choice, explore various resources for learning and construct representations of their discoveries. It also helped to share knowledge and to foster collaboration.
