Annual Function

The annual functions are organized by the School every year as it will increase the talent and all extracurricular activities of a child. It enables the children to think and realize the talents inside of them. Nowadays kids are very interested in different activities like dancing, singing, painting, playing instruments etc.

Annual Function has always been the most awaited programme of the year as it gives immense opportunities to the students to enhance their talent on a grand level. Including those preparations, guidance, excitement, rehearsals every single moment is memorable one for all the students, teachers and parents.

The events are theme-based around which the dance and drama performances are covered up.

Theme: A Display of Strong Moral Values

Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam 2017-2018

The Annual Event of our school was organized in a gala manner at Tagore Hall. Just like every year, it was a theme-based event on “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” – The Whole World is one big Family. The similarities with a difference among the various countries were depicted in a beautiful manner by the students in the form of Dances. Dance forms like African Dance, VakaVaka, Paso Doble Dance, South Indian Dance, Marathi Dance, West Indies Dance, famous Flamenco Dance of Spain, Ukrarian Dance and Contemporary Dance of Germany etc. These dances were prepared under the guidance of Abhishek Sir, Krunal Sir, Parag Sir, Harsh Sir and Divyesh Sir.

The dignitaries of the city like RMC Deputy Commissioner Shri Jadeja Sir, Chairman of our school Shri Bharatbhai Tanti, Chairman of Genius Group of Institutions Shri D.V. Mehta, Managing Trustee of Rajkot International School Shri Jay Mehta, Syndicate Member of Saurashtra university Shri Mehulbhai Rupani, Directore of R.K. Agency Shri Sarvanandbhai Sonvani, Senior Coach of DLSS Sports Authority of Gujarat Ms. Ramaben Madhra, Rajkot Cricket Head Coach Shri Mahipalsinh Jethwa, Shri Pushpdipsinh Jadeja of Atman Preschool, Pinaben Kotak of We Can Preschool, Priyaben Ashar of Prime Kids Preschool, Anshitaben Kothari of Blooming Kids Preschool, Divyaben Dave of Jingle Bells Preschool, Nainaben Soni of DGM School, Purviben Patel of Jay Playhouse and Meetaben Tanna of Genius Kids Kingdom – Talentland came over to encourage the students. The audience was made to download the Swachchta app to make Rajkot a Smart City and play their role as a responsible citizen in helping Rajkot Municipal Corporation.

JAY ANNUAL EVENT

The occasion was graced by the presence of dignitaries like Shri Mauleshbhai Ukani, Shri Manojbhai Rachh, Shri Kamleshbhai Mirani, Shri Devangbhai Mankad, Shri C. N. Nandani Sir, Shri Harshadbhai Patel, Shri Vikrambhai Pujara, Shri Bharatbhai Tanti, Shri Kiranbhai Shah, Shri Sudipbhai Mehta, Ms. Falguniben Kalyani etc.

The program was a blend of music presentations and dance songs. The students also acted out dramas with a meaningful twist. The dances were theme-based on different props like ribbon-dance, fan-dance, retro-theme, etc.
